It creates in that folder four other folders called "Backup, Performance, Presets, and Samples". M5b on it so that the Mach5 can read what's inside that folder. So what the Mach5/CDxtract does to your wave/aiff or any type of audio/snd file is put it in a folder with. Anyways, I've never used cdxtract before until I got Mach5. And it does with the big help of CDxtract which is the real converter in this unit.

This module applies smooth two-band saturation which can amplify signal level and apply desirable harmonic coloration. Another saturation module VariSaturator features is a digital 'waveshaping' saturator with feedback topology.
The valve saturation module applies asymmetric valve processing that closely resembles sound of valve amplifier cascade, and being a digital emulation, it applies its best sonic features without side artifacts like noise, strong phase shift and high frequency roll-off.
